Here are some photos of one of the games that were played at our Thanksgiving gathering. Also, Mason and Talon playing on the floor with Josh hiding behind some rolls. We ate well and we played well. This great feast was prepared by all, but supervised by Kristy. Most of us assisted Kim and Josh moving into their new home in North Ogden (Congratulations to them!), earlier in the day. It is amazing that they had the stamina to paint all week long into the wee hours of the morning, Josh to go to work, Kim to take care of kids and everything else and move and then attend the feast.
It was good to be with everyone. We hope that everyone had as good a time as we did.

Well, as you might guess this was our grandchildren's Halloween trek at a local supermarket in North Ogden. They seemed to be having a good time. Ashton is Batman, Mason is a dragon, Talon is Superman and Madison is a princess. We had a good time with them and Amanda, Kim and Josh.

Well, since I'm new at this, I thought that I would continue with the story of our vacation. We spent the second night at Moscow, Idaho and the next day I shot this photo of a farm on the plains north and west of Moscow. I loved this country. I must have told Mom a dozen times that I could live in such and such a place. The land was extremely beautiful. We then went toward the great north country, Canada. No we didn't go through Wolf Creek, but we made it to our neighbor up north. Here's Mom by the monument to record the event. We also had a very close call while we were driving. We were on a two lane country road, just enjoying the scenery, when as we rounded a corner the car in front of us was stopped. We slammed on the brakes and was I ever glad that the big fully loaded logging truck behind us did the same. Tires were squealing and smoke poured off the pavement, but we our prayers of that morning were answered and we were safe. The final picture is looking north just before the boarder.

Well, we've just created our first blog. It is exciting to be a part of a new endeavor. This fall Mom and I went roaming all over Idaho. Doesn't sound too exciting until you realize that I had not been to the northern end of Idaho very much. We spent the first night in Stanley, Idaho. This shot was taken across the road from the hotel that we stayed in. Needless to say it was beautiful. The next day we traveled to Moscow and along the way I took the picture of the of the deep gorge. It was scary just to peer over the canyon wall to take the picture. I also took this picture of me beside the Salmon river. I was very surprised to find out how many large rivers are in northern Idaho.
